As we explore the journey towards intentional living, we connected with some of the women who inspire us as a brand. See how Veronica Atienza welcomes a life of personal growth and kindness.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am currently 22 years old, and I am both a college student and professional ballet dancer. Ballet is something Ive been passionate about for 19 years now, and  I have been dancing professionally for almost 6 years now with the Philippine Ballet Theatre.

What is personal growth to you, and how do you see it happening for yourself?

For me, personal growth is when I truly feel happy in what I do. Happiness puts me in my best state of mind and it is what drives my desire for improvement and willingness to do better in my craft. It automatically becomes easier for me to carry out my responsibilities as it can easily change my whole mindset and attitude to be more positive and eager to learn new things.

What daily rituals do you do to see change happen in your life?

Eating a healthier and well-balanced diet.

What changes have you made that you're most proud of?

I let go of my bad eating habits, I learned to discipline myself with my workouts, and I improved my time management.

How do you think being kinder to yourself can lead to being kinder to mother nature?

I think being kinder to yourself promotes a sense of love and care for yourself which generates empathy. When you have/practice empathy, you will naturally be able to carry out the compassion and love towards the people around you and to Mother Nature as well.

How can sustainable brands like NANU help you in the process of being kinder to yourself and mother nature?

When I first learned about NANU, it was really eye opening for me and it made me reflect on my own practices. Knowing that there are people who really put effort into creating a more sustainable way of living has inspired me and taught me how to love mother nature as well. I realized that there are so many ways to reduce unnecessary waste and i want to be a part of the change as well.

How did you find out about NANU?

My friend posted about it on Instagram.

How has your experience been with NANU?

I was honestly surprised how soft it made my hair.

What was your transition to NANU like? Especially from your old bath products?

I didn’t really feel like it was such a big change in terms of the product itself since I can say that the quality is just as good or even better than other brands.

What made you stick with NANU?

Product quality and NANU’s advocacy. (and tbh the bottles really look so cute!!)

Every when do you repurchase a new bottle?

2 months
